Employers seek candidates with the right combination of technical, clinical, and soft skills to provide professional patient care. The CHCP Career Services team’s mission is to help students and graduates develop vital interpersonal skills that complement the skills taught in CHCP’s healthcare training programs.

As a CHCP student, you’ll work alongside a Career Services Advisor, who will help place you for an externship with one of our many externship e partners. Many of our graduates become employees for one of our externship partners.  Your Career Services Advisor will also help ensure you make the most of the career tools available to you through Career Edge, including:

• Assistance in creating a compelling resume and portfolio          
• Preparation for the interview process
• Tips for negotiating pay
• Guidance for accessing our network of employers across the state of Texas
