Working under the supervision of physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, physicians, or other licensed rehabilitation professionals ,rehab therapy technicians treat and support the short and long-term outcomes of patients recovering from injury or adapting to trauma or disability. Skills necessary for this job include advanced client relations skills and a high level of organization in order to successfully navigate administrative duties, such as client paperwork processing and maintaining a client schedule.

Overall, employment in healthcare occupations is projected to grow 12.6% from 2021 to 2031*, much faster than the average for all occupations.
