At the College of Health Care Professions, our certificate training program is designed to help prepare you to take the certification test and help you develop the skills you will need to join the ranks of oral health professionals as a state-registered dental assistant.
Dental assistants are on the front line of oral health, helping dentists with a number of different treatments and procedures. Every day, these certified dental assistants are tasked with taking dental radiographs, implementing tooth impressions for study casts, preparing dental equipment, providing oral care instructions to patients, and much more.

Formatted for the working student or parent – designed to be completed in as few as 48 weeks. This program incorporates online instruction with the benefit of nine hands-on clinical skill training sessions on Fridays and Saturdays, spread out over the entire 48 weeks at our campus locations where the program is offered.
