Grow your skill and understanding across mental health and addiction with an Addiction Studies and Mental Health Technician Certificate and make an even greater impact within the behavioral health field in your career.

Our certificate program offers a solid foundation in the treatment of mental health disorders, as well as the addiction lifecycle—including approaches to prevention and recovery. Students will be equipped to grasp and apply treatment modalities and therapeutic interventions within areas of mental health and substance abuse recovery in a number of clinical settings, including outpatient and inpatient, and individual and group counseling facilitation. The College of Health Care Professions can help you take the next step toward a role as a certified pharmacy technician in a variety of settings in the health insurance and pharmaceutical industries, including highly visible retail and hospital pharmacies and lesser-known facilities such as long-term care, nuclear, chemotherapy, and specialty pharmacies.

Pharmacy technicians perform various tasks supporting licensed pharmacists through dispensing medications to patients, receiving and confirming prescription orders, assembling medicines, and informing and educating patients about their medications. A high level of organizational and client-service skills is required to successfully navigate the customer-driven front lines, as well as behind-the-scenes operations of pharmacies.

The online pharmacy technician certificate from CHCP is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills to take the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam and be able to enter the workforce as an entry-level pharmacy technician. Our Echocardiography Certificate Program provides healthcare professionals with an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree a chance to enhance their skill set or transition into new career paths without the need for extended educational commitments. Our curriculum is tailored for individuals already experienced in patient care, enabling them to train with us and acquire the expertise needed to conduct adult echocardiogram waves to produce images of the heart and prepare for certification.
